Description of the work: In the realm of architecture, creation abounds. It constructs edifices, urban landscapes, green spaces, barriers, and pathways—elements and structures that shape our daily existence. Architecture both confines and liberates, delineating spaces, forging pathways, and thus dictating the flow and comprehension of streets, buildings, cities, and even nations. Yet, the true essence of architectural beauty resides in the interstitial spaces, in the unoccupied voids between structures. It dwells in the emptiness, devoid of architectural imposition, absent of material solidity. It inhabits the gaps and interstices amidst walls and hedges, in the dappled shade of a tree, or within the courtyard of a dwelling. It's in this poetry of absence that we apprehend the essence of architecture, as it's only through this emptiness that we truly perceive the constructed environment. The Space Between series focuses on these interstitial spaces.
